VQ35DE vs VQ35HR vs VQ37VHR: which should you buy?

It really comes down to your chassis and your goals. The VQ35DE is the easiest, most affordable path for an early G35, FX35 or QX60 and has massive aftermarket support. The VQ35HR loves to rev and rewards you up top, but it uses a different setup, so it is best when your car already came with it. The VQ37VHR is the big-displacement pick for the G37, Q60 and Q70, with the strongest stock power of the three. Match the engine to what your car came with, because all three are strong, refined V6s when they are maintained.
